Community-led support in Birmingham & Sandwell

Big hearts.
Brighter tomorrows.

At Little Lights CIC, we bring people together so families feel supported today and have opportunities for tomorrow. Your kindness can help make the next step possible.

A little light. A big reason.

Founded by Cindy Frizzotti, Little Lights CIC grew from a desire to help families feel supported, connected and included.

Our approach brings three things together: everyday community connections, practical help and opportunities to grow. Through local activities and our online community, we listen to people’s needs and connect volunteers, donors and partner organisations with ways to help.

That connection matters. A family looking for essential items, a young person searching for an opportunity or someone wanting to feel less alone needs a place to start. Little Lights helps bring people and support together.

Support for today. Connection for the journey. Opportunities for tomorrow.

Look what kindness can do.

Families have received practical help through the generosity of donors, the time given by volunteers and the shared work of our partners. These collaborations are at the heart of Little Lights.

  • School uniform support
Distributions helping families access clothing their children need for school.
  • Essential household support
Helping eligible families access appliances and other necessities through partner programmes.
  • Welcoming community activities
Events and shared experiences that give people a chance to meet and connect.
  • Opportunities for young people
Sharing employment opportunities and supporting outreach for practical repair skills activities.

Big ideas. Let’s bring them to life.

We want to build on these connections through four projects. Funding, donated resources and partnerships will help us turn these plans into more support for our community.

Future activities depend on the funding and resources we secure.

Good questions. Clear answers.

Choosing who to support is personal. Here is how your contribution connects with our work.

What can my support help make possible?

Donations can help provide essential supplies, materials for community activities and resources for future projects. Volunteers contribute time and skills, while partners can bring funding, expertise, space or useful items. For a specific project, please contact Little Lights to discuss its priorities, proposed costs and the support needed.

Why support Little Lights?

Our strength is the connection between listening to our community and bringing people together to respond. Our experience with school uniforms, household support, community activities and youth outreach gives us a foundation to build on. By supporting Little Lights, you help practical care and future opportunities grow together.

How can we plan a partnership and follow its progress?

Before agreeing a funded project, we can discuss its intended beneficiaries, activities, budget and timetable, alongside the updates and evidence your organisation needs. This helps establish a shared purpose and clear expectations from the start.

Ready to brighten someone’s day?

Everyone is welcome to support Little Lights. Give an amount that feels right for you, offer suitable essential items, volunteer your time or explore a partnership. Together, we can help more families feel supported and more people see a way forward.
