Where young people feel seen, supported and encouraged to shine.

About Little Lights CIC
Little Lights CIC is a community-led social enterprise based in Birmingham. We support children and young people by providing practical training, wellbeing support and meaningful opportunities to grow, connect and shine.
Since launching one year ago, we have delivered impact through online programmes, hands-on workshops, community markets, outreach activities and collaborations with organisations across Birmingham.
The Challenge We Face
Many children and young people in Birmingham face significant barriers — including food insecurity, limited access to safe learning spaces, unstable home environments and reduced opportunities for wellbeing, creativity and personal development.
These challenges often lead to social isolation, disengagement from education and fewer pathways to a positive future.
Our Response
Little Lights CIC responds by creating practical, community-led opportunities that support young people in real and immediate ways. Through hands-on baking and hospitality training, wellbeing activities, community workshops and food support, we offer young people the chance to learn, grow and feel valued.
Our work is based on compassion, consistency and connection — ensuring that each young person feels safe, supported and encouraged.
Our Vision
Our long-term vision is to secure a permanent physical space in Birmingham where young people can access training, wellbeing support, community connection and warm meals — all under one roof.
This space will become a hub of opportunity, safety and creativity, helping young people build confidence, skills and brighter futures.
Hope in Action
Hope in Action means transforming challenges into opportunities. Through our partnerships, community events, outreach projects and volunteer team, we are already delivering tangible impact across Birmingham — even before opening our permanent space.
Each activity, meal, workshop and collaboration is a small light that contributes to a brighter path for children and young people.
